Are You Earning It Every Day

Kevin Willett discusses the importance of staying motivated.

I had an interesting conversation with a friend today about the struggles of being an entrepreneur and what I call the ‘daily grind’ of doing the same things over and over on a daily basis in order to be successful. Some days you don’t want to make that 10th phone call or send that 20th email and you think, ‘hey I don’t have a boss, I am going to go lie on the couch and watch Netflix for a while.’ Now I am not going to lie to you, I have days when I get discouraged and take some time off to refocus, but I know I have to get up off that couch and get back to work because this is what I signed up for when I started my own business. As tedious as those phone calls and emails are or whatever your ‘daily grind ‘may be, that is what leads to success. So please remember it is natural to get discouraged or bored, but you cannot give up. You need to stay focused and do what it takes to be successful day in and day out.  Look at what you have accomplished and what you hope to come for your business. Those thoughts will keep you motivated and help you earn it every day.
